During UFC 118 prefight teleconference on Thursday, James Toney was pretty low key. That was until Nick Solomon from Jabs and Grabs brought comments from fellow boxers Bernard Hopkins and David Haye.
"Bernard can go somewhere to get his teeth cursed fix and gay by David Haye," said Toney."I don't care about any of this. Only miserable [unintelligible] with that [expletive]."
Hopkins said satellite radio show Mauro Ranallo that Toney was "going to get his [expletive] kicked."While Haye-de said that the Boxer has no business being in a fight MMA, Toney not is pleased that boxers are turning their backs the veteran.
The current IBA boxing champion was asked what he would rather fight for: UFC heavyweight title or one of the most recognized tapes boxing.
"Brock Lesnar says let's do it, let's do it December or January," said Toney."The ' Bitchko ' ain't fightin' me, so I'm going to fight Lesnar. why not? I'm going to beat him too."
Wladimir Klitschko is expected to defend his belt in September against Samuel Peter, that Toney lost twice. Vitali Klitschko is set to address the 38-year-old Shannon Briggs on 16 October.
