Hughes shows the skill of Hall of Fame with 117 UFC conquer Almeida

In his first bout from being introduced into the UFC Hall of fame, Matt Hughes choked out Ricardo Almeida with a frontal headlock at 3: 15 in the first round to 117 UFC.


Hughes knocked Almeida ashore with a big left, so he ended up with a rapid suffocation by a headlock front; Almeida never had the opportunity to touch and went cold from the starter.


Hughes, a former professional wrestler and wrestling coach at Eastern Illinois University, accredited on his training wrestling for such a move.


"It is a move of wrestling old I learned at Eastern Illinois", said after the fight. "I'm happy to beat a Brazilian with a move of wrestling ".


Hughes said that Hall of Fame induction of July put additional expectations on him to win his next attack.


"Darn Dana White had to go and put me in the Hall of Fame and put pressure on my shoulders, so that it feels good.


Hughes said that he is going to take the fall out to hunt, and then will discuss his upcoming fight with the UFC President Dana White. Although Hughes is removed from its form of Championship, he has three straight victories from losing to Thiago Alves in June 2008.
