You would like to see immediately Silva-Sonnen II? Silva Manager has iffy

For some reason in mixed martial arts, immediate rematches are usually frowned. The youngest demographic such new blood in the cage, especially when it comes to the struggles of the title. So when will we see Chael Sonnen get another shot at Anderson Silva? Sonnen was leading 4-0 (40-35, 40-34, 36-40) and his way to win the fifth when he got caught in a triangle choke.

The hype prefight was among the best in UFC history and struggle was dynamite. Willingness of Sonnen get in line with what seemed guarantees scandalous, will probably pay dividends in the form of buy pay-per-view which could be in excess of 750,000.

The second fight will be even larger. Thus the FOC can afford to slip in another competitor before meeting Sonnen e Silva? And isn't incredibly risky to make Sonnen fight someone else in the meantime?

MMA expert Kevin Iole of Yahoo thinks there is only one choice for the UFC and we could be waiting a while before we see the rematch.

Update:Silva Soares And Manager sounds like he is already lining against giving Sonnen an immediate hit.Soares said FightHype:

"I mean, I don't think necessarily a rematch immediately is legitimate. it's not like he won decisively .you've forwarded man. you were on top of him for twenty minutes of the fight and he couldn't finish. Anderson scored a few bumps and scratches, but let's be realistic, you're on a guy of 23 minutes and could not take him? why should he get a rematch?"

As expected, the first reaction to this post has been all over the map on Twitter @ stevecofield.
