UFC scores big with television coverage

In terms of power star or the outcome of some of the struggles television, was never the best card, but UFC on versus 2 was a big winner when it came to exposure for sport. Sunday night primetime loco has proved beneficial with little to compete in the world of sport. Versus went all with its coverage, especially the show postfight. The network has returned to San Diego for spot live with winners, Joe Rogan and analyst UFC UFC President Dana White. Former voice of color WEC Frank Mir also served as a studio analyst back to New York.

The UFC pulled off a coup Monday morning with a look of Jon Jones on ESPN "SportsCenter."The Josh Elliott very excited and informed anchored the interview. That is a solid spot recital Jones has been a favorite of less-650 and dispatch of Vladimir Matyushenko very easily, with a few highlights explosive.

Jones also qualifies as one of the top-10 in MMA? the victory of Juan Manuel Marquez (top-5 Boxer by most accounts) does not present itself as a story the world fight? Even ESPN chose to go with MMA.

Elliott did miss the mark on a potential problem of hot button. Jones is pretty polished with his answers, but some recent James Toney trash-talk him talking (3: 45 mark and video).

"Now I actually have a heavy that I wouldn't mind fighting. Here's James Toney, "Jones said when it comes to get his weight up to 231 pounds between struggles.' ' Mr. Jon I am going to slap in his face. 'Would bump for that fight each day. "

Had a good weekend for MMA. Still makes you wonder why newspapers are so reluctant to cover sport. we mentioned on Friday that the San Diego Union-Tribune seemed uncomfortable covering the event. the Charter has had a history of early Saturday, but we have not seen anything on the day of the event. Monday, freelancer Matt Youmans of Las Vegas Review-Journal is the story of struggle-night for the paper.
