Some of the media of the old guard of Boston not impressed by the MMA

MMA is not for everyone. We know that. Too often when people from 50-plus demographic talk sport complain violence and blood. So it profiles like no shocker that there was complaining by veterans writers like Bob Ryan and Dan Shaugnessy. But they took a different position both pointing out that they don't see what it was about all the emotions.

"In all honesty, I'm just saying the truth. The biggest revelation that I got from that night at the garden of expenditure was how astonishingly BOOOOORRING this thing is, "Ryan said of the New England of the NSC" sports Tonight. ""Is the most overrated ... don't understand the appeal remotely. not enough blood, there's enough action."

Ryan said the first fight on pay-per-view between Marcus Davis and Nate Diaz was solid, but he doesn't enjoy the work on the ground in the subsequent struggles.

"The fans don't like the wrestling," said Ryan, who is now an expert after taking on a single card MMA live.

Ryan also knows as knowledgeable each participation in 15,000-plus were.

"There are a sophisticated some martial arts experts who appreciate when there is a well executed martial move to create a slideshow, Yes, that's not the majority, is a small minority," said Ryan.

Apparently, Ryan spoke with a lot of fans to discover what they enjoy.

"People want to see Boxing, slugging it and you want to see when a guy gets punched down his face, that's what gets us excited is the most boring nonsense," said Ryan."Most of the fighting in the first, and granted was described to me as the first practice, wadding, attacks are boys in wrestling matches in which were badly collegiate wrestling with nothing happens."

Who gave Ryan that description? Someone on line press? we would love to know what says MMA regular media the first fights are "batting practice".

That's because it shows how "Sports Tonight the NSA" and "Around the Horn of the ESPN" are sometimes unbearable. the Panel consists of old dudes media that is the word for the fans, but most have not had anything beyond a 10 second conversation with a fan in 10 years.

The crew of the CSN embedded video was mainly pro-MMA. long boxing and NFL scribe Ron Borges has more than given MMA a fair shake. He is the "expert" in this Panel. Unfortunately, you can't count on one hand the number of writers who really have embraced boxing MMA.

Check out the lead host Mike Felger, he describes the fight Davis-Diaz as sort of macabre and then says he loved!
